The annoying inconsistency of Clannad: MOVIE II, SOLDIERS OF SORROW

Two things:

  • The only way the Clannad game can be better than the anime is if half of the arcs are completely different. For example, in the game Yukine would be suffering from bone cancer, and the only way to cure her would be by taking out her skeleton, leaving her in a form not dissimilar to that of Ditto.
  • These last two episodes have totally proven my point. Just off the heels of the uninspired Misae arc and the horrible Yukine arc, we have two really great episodes. They’re well written, well directed and nothing dumb happens in them at all. What the hell!
