Comic Update: To Our Children’s Children’s Children
Posted On June 5, 2010
I suppose for most cosplay photo-shoots, it’s not that difficult to find a setting which meshes with the character, since most anime these days takes place in modern-day Japan. However, for a show like Strike Witches, it’s a bit difficult. This combined with the fact that cosplayers such as Lenfried are far more concerned with showing off their nearly naked bodies than they are concerned with accuracy, makes for photoshoots like the one Rets is complaining about. I honestly don’t care, but Rets is a stickler for shit, so he does. His loss, I guess.
I’m pretty happy with how the artwork turned out in this comic. It’s not perfect, but it’s not totally awful.
That’s all for this week. I’ll try to get more posts down on the blog, with hope.

The solution is simple:
Nazis invented it.
Works for everyone else.
But in Strike Witches, there are no Nazis!
Well, the characters of Minna, Erica, and Gertrud are kinda like alternate universe Nazis, because of the time period and the place they’re from…they’re just killing the Neuroi as opposed to the Jews.
Also: sometimes I think I might be gay. Then I see something like this, and my… reaction reminds me that I am merely bicurious.
Is that title a Moody Blues reference?
Actually it’s Pizzicato Five, but they probably totally stole it from Moody Blues.
Also, in return I give you this: http://konachan.com/post/show/66944/hayate_no_gotoku-kiss-saginomiya_isumi-sanzenin_na
Don’t know how much you like yuri, but it’s still pretty hot and well-executed.
Yeah, I got that doujin when it first came out. There’s a full image of that which isn’t cropped.
Great comic. The photos in the first frame went really well with the rest of it. Does the use of 3D photos in a 2D comic count as breaking the 4th wall?
It does when you add the 5th element to the 1st principles.
