Comic Update: We have signal

Various supernatural forces have been working against me getting this comic out, including but not limited to Comic Market, moving house, and me being violently sick. But all that is done now, and Mistakes of Youth lives once again after one month of silence!

I still have some ideas left for “The Japan Arc” before I round it off. There’s a good bit of them, but I’m going to try to punch them all out in the next two weeks in an attempt to make up for lost time, and in an attempt to simply not drag anything out too long a in Mega Tokyo-esque fashion. I figure the best way to portray Comic Market was in a way that didn’t need words, as one does not need words to describe Comic Market. Needless to say I exaggerated just a smidge, but this comic more or less encompasses the feeling of Day 3. Oh, it’s probably not necessary, but here’s a version of the comic with Ishikei’s new book un-blurred. You can’t see much, but I wanted to err on the side of safety.

I don’t really like how the bulk of the comic is sandwiched between four giant panels, but I kind of needed that Akira reference at the beginning and those last two panels at the end. It doesn’t look too bad as you scroll down, but it looks bad as a whole.

That’ll be it for now. Even though school is starting, the first couple of weeks should be light, so I’m going to try my best to punch out two more comics for Friday, and three more for next week.
