A room with a view… of JAPAN
Posted On June 22, 2009
It took a while, but the posters have finally found their way onto my wall. I was hesitating at first, mostly because I wasn’t sure if the tape would stick well to the rather soft walls, but once that one poster went up, the rest kind of followed. While that Strike Witches poster has yet to fall, others have. I can’t say for sure, but I think I’ve finally found a way to keep the falling posters down the minimum. They wake me up at night, you know!
You may notice posters from older shows around–I bought a 2005 issue of Megami a while back for a Tsukuyomi poster, and it just happened that there were other posters that I liked, so I decided to stick them up as well.

you don’t get into trouble with messing with your room’s wall like that?
I would give up my foot for just a fourth of everything that you have.
omo: not even the Japanese people who live here follow the rules. There may be a rule against this, but no one really cares.
Icy: The wall is just a few issue of Megami…
I spot with my eye something from Satoshi Urushihara, one of my favorite ero artists.

Hey… how is that different from your own room? It’s some kind of moé-aura you take everywhere you go.
Just like a raining cloud following you everywhere.
soft walls?
They’re lined with some kind of canvas-like material.

Here’s a poster you might be interested in, if you can find this back issue of Comic High! for sale somewhere.

What I’m wondering is how many people have stepped into your room after you put all of these up, as well as what their reactions were. :P
You know, when I look at your room, it reminds me of one of my friend room. Anime poster to the MAX!! (p/s: do you have it on your ceiling?)
I think the rule is just put there in case people use the really hard-to-remove stuff for posters which risks ruining the surface, since it was more or less the same case for my room many years back in Kyoto.
So if anything it’s more of a guideline.
Otherwise, nothing beats POSTER RUSH KEKEKE
