MoY Podcast 2 BEYOND THE TIME: Episode 9– Yes! Love and Peace!
Posted On November 14, 2008
Omo, a drunk Jeff Lawson and myself sit down and talk about Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu for about an hour. We probably go way deeper than we need to about a show like this, but whatever!
Also note how I only begin to say things of merit once we start talking about fanservice.

I have no idea how you talked about Nogizaka Haruka for almost an hour… Still decent, though.
I think Lawson and I could’ve talked about anything for an hour.
Especially when Lawson is drunk, it seems. I liked how it sorta became a random grab-bag of “useless” trivia at the end. :P
For some reason, when I play the podcast in the browser, everything comes out at chipmunk-level pitch. At first I thought you were doing this to protect your identity, or those of your friends, but then I downloaded the Macross podcast (after trying it the browser), and it’s normal. I’ll probably relisten to the Haruka Nogizaka podcast at normal speed, but I kinda liked it as is.
Macross OP sounds good at high speed, like a Vocaloid gone berserk.
That’s weird. What browser are you using?
Firefox version 3.0.3.
Huh. I’m using not 3 (still on 2 because danbooup doesn’t work on 3)
It may some trouble with the plugin. I’ll look into it…
it’s probably with your quicktime plugin.
I listened to this on Saturday, for once. Some notes:
1. Errata: One-Outs is not done by the same guy as Kaiji but same animation team. Dated info is dated.
2. Jeff needs to drink more. I should drink less lest you want to hear my mumbling get even worse.
3. It’s “scorching” just in case people didn’t pick up what I said.
*gasp*
I cared about Shiina… XP
Heh, still awesome how you can talk so long about Haruka… made me laugh. Good job!

Right, Madhouse is doing it, however the author of the manga said he did draw inspiration from Akagi.
Also WATCH IT DAMMIT. I think I’m done, not sure why it irks me so.
