I don’t know how many times I went around the area looking for a guy with a Strike Witches cap but apparently, I failed to find you. :(

I wish I could have seen Cencoroll but I only went on Saturday. I did get to see AKB48, Makino Yui, and Tomino-sensei though. Speaking of Tomino-sensei, my friend and I were waiting outside trying to find out where the bus leaves from and we find the man himself just chillin there. After much hesitation and awkwardness, we finally went up to him and basked in his aura. I said I would take a picture of my friend with him and Tomino proceeded to give the biggest hug to my shocked friend. She was pretty much touched by a GOD.

Actually, when I said, “That’s a Strike Witches cap – are you WAH?” I hadn’t actually read the article you posted about wearing Strike Witches gear. I just remembered that you were a DAI FAN, as it were.

I had to complain but my VIP pass started getting me stuff when I mentioned what the VIP privileges were and how much more money it cost.
I only really got it for the free bag check though, so it’s entirely fine with me.
Makino Yui is tiiiiny and cute, missed her live concert but bought the CD. NHK Boxset Slim case covers signed.
Yoshiyuki Tomino’s translators were SLOWWWWWW. and as you said, bad.
Wearing official import merchandise makes people ask you where you got it/recognize you in your case.

This is the first year I missed NYAF, which makes me sad because YOU WERE THERE THIS TIME. I’d never had any major complaints about it, but then again, why would I (since I can’t get to any other cons). I could never identify exactly where the Dealer’s Room was, though. Since you mentioned meeting RyuMoto, I’m confused now. Is the Dealer’s Room the same thing as Artist’s Alley? Or am I just being unbelievably poorly versed in con-speak?
