Thanks for like the worst review ever. You managed to miss everything important while still ruining some of the film’s best moments.

The English dub of Eva 1.0 has *just* premiered at AX. Surprisingly good. However, licensee Funimation is only giving this a half-hearted “art house” theatrical release this summer. I suspect there will be DVDs and Blu-Rays out just in time for Xmas. So keep waiting for 2.0, because the US licensee has its hands full with 1.0

has anyone noticed the clear hints that the rebuild occurs after the End of Evangelion? –

the opening scene of movie 1 is the red tide on the white beach, shown in the final scene of EoE.
the moon has a red stain/streak on it, also shown in the final scene of EoE.
and now asuka wearing the eye patch, as seen in the final scene of EoE (associated with the one rei had in the original show).

any ideas?

Amazing. Fucking finally. now, they can’t just go ahead and call her a stupid frigid girl.
