It´s really bad stuff! The manga is so much better, it´s the real thing, none of it´s adaption was really good, the 2001 one is the worst of all!! Mitsuteru Yokoyama is a great mangaka, don´t judge him for any anime adaptation that came from Toei. Try the 2004 series of Tetsujin 28 Go, from the same director of Giant Robo, Yasuhiro Imagawa. Forget this show. It´s really bad stuff!
