Hahhaha, that comic was great. The sheer randomness helps the humor that much more too.

Personally I really liked how Macross F’s first 5 episodes worked out, especially all the Ranka singing scenes, though Sheryl’s singing/mech battle scenes were ok…..

As I said, she is the only good part of the show. But even she and cool looking mech space combat, that I’ve yearned for in animated form, cannot keep me into this. Maybe, just maybe, if they’d have gone for a lead that was more interesting or manly. I got enough Emo pretty-boys at work to stock a damn shoujo harem manga as it is.

the series really is a disappointment. I was really excited when they announced the series, but it seems like they’re taking everything we liked about the original and adding that flaming bag of dog shit some know as Macross Plus. I’m tempted to just edit out everything but the battle scenes and watch that.
