Sunrise needs to keep the fujoshi watching after all that mecha porn.

  2. DrmChsr0 says:

    LOL

Now where’s mah gundam seed yaoi flick.

  3. nyagase says:

If you missed all the yaoi in the first season, you weren’t paying attention. Code Geass provides equal opportunity fanservice for guys and girls. :)

  4. Deranged says:

I had no clue why that scene was necessary… while it was happening my thoughts were all ‘He is getting too damn close’

  5. Koji Oe says:

I felt kinda let down by this episode big time. Kallen was dressed pretty cute in that scene though.

  6. teeif says:

I really like Kallen’s new costume too, but who let clamp take over the directing?

  7. 3x as random says:

The bubbles made up for it. lol.

  8. roast-beefy says:

You know what would have been fucking funny? Not like this show needs more comedy, but Roro should have time stopped, shoved Kallen out of the way, and stood in her place. Sure it would’ve been gay as all hell, but I’d get a laugh out of it.

  9. Jams says:

Not even Gundam 00 did something like this. Would be hilarious if Lelouch turned out to be gay despite being in an ultimate harem.

  10. Owen S says:

There will be a Rollo crossdressing episode later, and wildarmsheero will make a post saying that he approves, and will hit it. I just know it.

  11. BrendantheJedi says:

Seriously Gundam 00 wasn’t even gay at all, except for Tierra’s feminimity and Graham Aker’s Gundam fetish (which means he has a hardon for mecha, which makes him different from us Otaku). Each of the male pilots have at least one femalie love interest, except for the afformentioned two, dead Overflag pilots, and Yazan Gabl-I mean Ali Al Sarges (unless you think he raped Kunie Crossroad before he stabbed her to death, which is a real possibility).

And this scene doesn’t make Lulu gay. Remember he fucks everything, so that would make him bisexual.

The fanservice was pretty 50/50 last season, but it really seems like they’re stepping up the BL undertones in this one for the fujoshi crowd.

    >>Owen S
Maybe if Rollo looked more like Mako-chan… mmm, Mako-chan. I’d hit that and just not look at the penis. Same with Hayate.

    Shit.

    >>BrendantheJedi
I heard from some guy who actually finished 00 that Tierra was like tsundere and made moe moe eyes at another one of the CB.

    >>And this scene doesn’t make Lulu gay. Remember he fucks everything, so that would make him bisexual.
I know, this post is mostly a joke.

I would fukken lol if Tieria is not even a human but a glorified Haro like Hanayo/Gundam Meister874.

Hadn’t thought of that. GENIUS. And Kallen went up one point in my book for her scene, although I could have done without the wimpy ~dramatic~ running away.

Rollo lusts after Lulu like Setsuna lusts after Gundam…it’s beyond gay.

And yeah, Tieria is a tsundere man(fem?)bot, and makes moe eyes at Lockon. Because Lockon is Stupid Sexy Lockon. No one can help making moe eyes at him.

  15. BrendantheJedi says:

Again, Tierra is really the main exception, but even with his moe eye moment, he wasn’t doing it out of gayness. Really, his experience with that is that Lockon is really the only person in all of CB he connects on any emotional level, besides the bloody f’ing computer program that gives CB orders. Then Lockon ended up getting injured because he was in an emo moment during a computer malfunction, so he got depressed about that and got further depressed when he died in a later episode in some part due to the injury Lockon recieved from his fault.

The Tsundere moments mainly come out of an adversail relationship he has Sestuna, who goes against orders to do stupid crap (like opening up his cockpit mid battle or rushing in at the beginning of a battle, or yelling shit like “I am Gundam”). Tierra is a person who so strict about adhering to the “plan” that when he himself goes against it that he cries. Eventually he does start to warm up to Sestuna when it becomes evident that they both think that the Throne Gundams are bad news, but that isn’t anything overly gay.

And as Anon says above we don’t even know that he is human at all. He eyes light up often like he’s some sort of robot. During converstations with Lockon, we have some dialouge that suggests that he isn’t a regular human. And Cyborgs have been seen in 00: when Litchy (one of the bridge crew members) gets blown apart in the penulmate episode, he reveals a shitload of parts along with his natural organs. So for all we know, he might not even be a guy or a girl.

But you know whats the funniest part a about Tierra? In the last episode, during a scene that is a montage, we see a character who looks just like him but is voiced by female seyiuu. So if that doesn’t make him even more sexually confusing, I don’t know what will.

  16. Man, 00 sounds horrible.

  17. BrendantheJedi says:

Its good though. Despite Tierra and its slow start, it did become good (I know the pacing is what ultimately killed the show for you, but in the end it actually worked). It defied many traditional Gundam conventions, yet it generally kept the general themes of destruction without being preachy. Everything in the series generally builds up the story, even characters who at the beginning seem to serve no purpose eventually do something or have something happen to them that generally pushes the theme forward. The ending is not at all rushed, and despite being the halfway point, actually feels like an ending.

  18. The friend who watched it is someone I’ve known for like 6 years, and he really hated it :/

  19. nyagase says:

Fanservice may have been 50/50 last season, but they definitely stepped up the female fanservice this season. All those cleavage shots of Bunny-girl Karren? (which I heartily approve of)

It stands to reason that they’d increase the male fanservice… although I still don’t think it’s more. I mean, all those Suzuku+Lulu scenes? Rolo doesn’t even come close.

  20. Jusuchin says:

I think I was lucky watching anime is kinda in an hiatus for me…looking for a job and doing simple cleaning tasks my parents dump on me cos my sisters are too lazy to do…

I get to miss out on the gayness and rely on you guys to be my buffer.

  21. BrendantheJedi says:

Huh, all of the people I’ve talked to loved 00 (most of them old fashioned UC fans too). Well, to each their own I guess.

  22. Nerf Herder says:

I’m a big hardcore UC fan and I like Gundam 00. It’s true that 00 started out pretty weak but it became good in the end. Well the character designs are kinda iffy since it was done by the person who made Loveless but for a Gundam show it’s decent. I know you don’t like the mecha designs but it’s a breath of fresh air for me. I’m tired of the usual Kunio Okawara.

  23. BrendantheJedi says:

Yeah, I was also sick of the BIGGER PACKPACKS. Also the Exia 00 region figures is one of the best pieces of Mecha porn evar.

  24. Knightly says:

    Bubbles.
