I don’t know why his thoughts reminded me of quite the neurotic Sato of ”Welcome to the NHK”

I was seriously going to wait mid season before starting the new season… but I’m going to give in to Kanokan at least. Softcore porn animu is a good thing.

Another thing, Defectron that’s an amazing bit of detective work. It’s obvious Rets has a hardcore 2d girl complex, a split personality, and a strange propensity to go pantsless in public… Wow… even Freud would head-to-desk.

Alright, after some investigating, I drew several conclusions. Time to kill some catgirls.

1. Tina didn’t seem too interested in what was below his shirt. So if he isn’t wearing pants, this means Tina is so used to seeing him without pants on she doesnt care anymore.

2. Rets was not aroused in this scene, or he has a very small penis, or possibly both. Or maybe he’s secretly a girl!. Because if he was aroused then if his penis was normal sized, it would be visible in this scene. So that means he probably has the same sort of penis as shinji Ikari which is so small you can’t see it.

3. Now if Rets wasn’t aroused, here this can shed some light on things. Now Rets being a hard core otaku we can assume has not had much sexual experience if any at all. Now in this scene Rets is in front of an attractive girl, Tina and if we assume he has no pants and also has a regular sized penis this means that an attractive girl seeing him with no pants on isn’t something he gets excited about. Now what does this mean? Obviously Rets is not gay based on his behaviour in previous comics. But if he has no pants on and is not aroused and is not gay, this means something else is going on. The most obvious answer is that he’s become so engrained in his 2D complex , real girls, even real fantasy girls like Tina just don’t get to him anymore. Or the second possibility is , as I suggested before this is something that he’s used to doing and therefore is not aroused. The third possibility is that he’s just so concerned about what shirt he’s wearing he just doesn’t notice that he has no pants on. This is my favorite explanation.

4. Of course this brings up the question of why Rets isn’t wearing any pants. Above one explanation is he just forgot to put them on. The second explanation is that he’s trying to make a public statement about how Otakuism is being forced underground. But given that he has some shame about wearing anime shirts to class, this might be something that he’s doing subconciously without even realizing it.

5. This also bring up the possibility that I suspected ever since Tina started getting really Sexy. She’s actually an imaginary being in Rets mind, a secondery personality to fullfill his needs. If so it would make perfect sense that she would not notice that he has pants on. Of course if Tina were a split personality that would mean that somewhere deep in Rets mind he likes yaoi…

Alright, I think that’s good enough to kill just about every catgirl in a 500 meter radious, my work here is done!

Contrary to popular belief, this is not a self insert comic in the least. As such, that character is Rets and not me. Anyway, the question you need to be asking yourself is, was he even wearing pants at all in the panels before that? It’s not like you can see past his shirt… ;)
