this world is a world of darkness and terror

In a world…

…where PiQ magazine sits in front of Otaku USA…

…where titles like “Loveless” and “Absolute Boyfriend” are placed on the shelf with their covers facing outwards…

…where “Dramacon” even exists at all.

You would think there is no hope.

But there is. There is hope.

hope

However, hope is always too fucking expensive.

Do the “shojo beat” people realize that the cover of their magazine can be read as “beat a virgin”

Yeah, Robot is too damn expensive. It is worth the price though.

Well, girls do frequent books stores more than guys. No wonder they have all the shoujo BS facing outwards.

    Get a job, you bum.

Also, at least that place carries Asian Cult Cinema. That makes up for a multitude of sins.

I keep telling Macias that Otaku USA’s covers suck. Highlander, Bleach? Not exactly broadening the children’s horizons.

Absolute Boyfriend and Dramacon are actually ok, more or less. For a little while, anyway. Much worse on those shelves, like all that random shonen-ai crap and those no-name manga. “robot” is good, but some of the stories are amazingly pretentious, kinda like some of the stuff in Heavy Metal.

I’m more worried about why they want to associate with frickin’ Tiger Beat. Why does that even exist anymore?

I… WHAT? Isn’t that shit like, 18 dollars in the USA? Don’t be a pussy. Three years ago I paid 40 EUROS for Vol.2 IN JAPANESE.

Actually there is an alternative thing he could do. He could always start taking commisions.

Surprisingly, I find myself agreeing with every single thing there…..

(I’m glad Robot is being resumed too…)
