I dont understand why Kodomo no jikan manga was cancelled, had been resolved with a warning ”for adults”, right?

But we must accept that it is more acceptable to see a couple of Homosexuals (usually adult couples) that a teacher being harassed by a student

As much as I am for Gay rights and all, even occasionally dipping into that section of fans myself, it still scares me when the local bookstore has BL prominently on display. They don’t even try to at least stack them so you don’t have to see their covers.

That is one instance where cute little seven-ten year olds who have crushes on their teachers and shouldn’t be wearing frilly mini-skirts seems much more appealing. Aside from the fact those costumes look extremely cute. ^w^

*shakes head* You know, I was pissed about Kodomo no Jikan too, but this comparison is just not applicable at all. The only reason I’m pissed about hardcore man porn getting placement on the selves is because dammit at least Kodomo no Jikan has real people as it’s characters. Good story = win over stupid stereotypical penis-in-butt plotlines.

also, @moonspeaker: So does that mean the creepy fundamental Christians and assorted idiots that compare homosexuality to screwing animals would agree with this? Because clearly the train of “logic” is the same.

I have to say, this one made me think for a moment and wonder “why IS the gay sexual orientation so accepted in our society while the at least equally improper pedophilia orientation isn’t??”. It does make some sense in some ways, but come on, at least the latter has the pairing right! It’s just a bit more severe than usual case of liking younger women…

The last time I headed to an anime shop, they ero Anime wasn’t in short supply. Its really only in manga that us male anime fans get shortchanged, but that is becasue Yaoi fangirls tend to buy more manga outside the Naruto/Bleach Box.
