Finished the Cobra movie, it was fine. Finished the Cobra pilot episode made for English audiences, it was lulz. Now that I’m done with that I’m going to catch up on some stuff, like these Hayate raws, Hayate subs (!), Minami-ke, Genshiken, ef and KnJ DVD rips. Also making a comic.

Gonna start on either Soultaker or Yamamoto Yohko soon.

    If you liked Pani Poni Dash you should definitely go with Yamamoto Yohko. You’ll find several elements in the latter that would later appear in the former, most notably a prototype of “the forehead girl.” Omo has a post somewhere detailing why Shinbo’s style works better with Yohko than with Soultaker, so if it might be a better choice than going directly for some of the more atypical Shinbo works.

    Also, Minami Takayama is love.

    Watch Yamamoto Yohko first. It’ll give you more perspective on Soul Taker.

    I’m probably going to go for Soul Taker first, just because off the heels of Cobra (31 eps) I want a shorter series.
