the pillows are amazing, and I would also second the Sambomaster suggestion. they've got a lot of energy and power behind their music.

as for good pillows albums, you can find the full versions of most songs of the FLCL soundtracks spread across the LITTLE BUSTERS, Happy Bivouac, and RUNNERS HIGH albums. Fool on the Planet is a greatest hits compilation that also includes several of the FLCL tracks, if you want something more compact. their two most recent albums, MY FOOT and Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! are also really good listening.

i used to really like the pillows, but after a while, they just feel weak to me. there are only two or three songs i still like, most notably stalker goes to babylon.

also, that newest whole album, third eye i think, was better than almost the entire...everything that came before it.

Ah yes, I figured some of the songs may have been altered for the show. I'll try and secure that third OST and the rest of the albums you guys mentioned. Thanks.

yep, i've got the all-Pillows soundtrack too. It's preetty good -
I'm not a huge fan because I don't think The Pillows are all that different from other indie bands, and i usually listen to much heavier stuff, but certain songs are just awesome (especially Hybrid Rainbow)

Thank You, My Twlight is definately one of their best CDs. I like the 3rd FLCL, since it has the vocal versions of all the songs, but I noticed the sound quality was a bit down. Penalty Life is also worth checking out, but it doesn't have as much as one would expect.

As the above poster said, the second OST is probably the weakest as it has a lot of drama tracks and stuff without vocals. The best of the three is the third OST, which you can get domestically without much problem. For a regular Pillows album I would recommend either My Foot or Thank You, My Twilight, those two would be my favorite.
