That was a pretty good movie. I’d kind of like it if more time was spent on each individual event, but then the movie would have ended up even longer than it already was. Yeah, the parts felt too short, but overall the film felt too long? I dunno. But yeah, I liked it. A little clunky, but I can see why is is revered as a classic. I may even get the next one!

I’m guessing this is what the newer series Galaxy Railways was based on? That would explain the 89s style character designs in the show

It’s less 80s designs and more Leiji Matsumoto designs.
