Saimoe is great as a popularity contest, cuz it’s new characters every year. You’ll see new winners, and without a show like Haruhi that you know will devour all the spots, it’s interestin to watch (not like the GameFAQs competition where the same fuckers win every year).

I agree that Nagi>>>Hinagiku, but what can ya do. I guess people appreciate her for being the most mature trsundere ever.

But wasn’t that Saimoe poll broken to begin with? Their pool of contestants were picked with an incredibly questionable definition of moe, and just degenerates into just another popularity poll where whatever message board contingent with the most members is going have their way with the voting.

So why even pay attention to the poll, let alone take it seriously?
