Yeah, I forgot to do April Anime. I was going to do one complete post once I had all the new shows sorted out but never got around to it. Anyway…

Fansubs/Raw
Bokura No: I guess it’s fine. Hasn’t really had a chance to show its stuff. Plan to keep watching.
Darker Than Black: An ok Bones show. Episode 3 was probably the best the show had the offer, and that’s not saying much. Waiting on episode 4. May drop if it gets too boring.
Death Note: Kind of wish the animation was consistent here. On the silly part of the story right now.
First Gundam: Sub more Sixtydeuce.
Hayate no Gotoku: Funny show is funny. Though I think the first episode was probably the best in terms of humour, but the rest are pretty good. Nagi is hot.
Hidamari Sketch: Gave up on rawz, waiting on subz.
iDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA: Boring show. Still watching it because it’s Sunrise and they’ve yet to fail me. Cute girls and robots kind of make it watchable.
Jigoku Shoujo Futagomori: One episode left. Has turned into something of an absurdest comedy.
Lucky Star: Cute laid back humour. Konata is best |3
Manabi Straight: Waiting for the subs.
Negima!?: MIA.
Nodame Cantabile: :V :V :V
Romeo x Juliet: Very impressive first episode, less impressive second episode and not so impressive third. I’ll keep with it, I guess, provided it doesn’t go too Gonzo on me.
Seirei no Moribito: Watching for the production values alone. Couldn’t care less about the story or characters.
Shakugan no Shanna: Starting off slow. Kind of interesting. Started watching it because I felt I had to. Or something.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Still the best of the season. Has gotten a little slower, but still has a great sense of adventure and courage. I kind of wish they’d fire the monkeys who did episode 4, though 
Uchuu Senkan Yamato: Is this not something every man should watch?
Was watching Heroic Age but I kind of bored with it. It’s a good show, just Not My Thing.

Renkin 3-Kyuu Magical? Pokaan: Apparently I finished this between April and May, and have little memory of doing so! Cute fun, with a hint of hilarity. Kind of porny. Overall solid stuff. Would do business with again.
I will definitely watch Seirei no Moribito soon because I heard of those great production values. The main characters looks like Saya from the original Blood movie btw.
Darker than Black looks good because the original designs are from Iwahara (who did my favorite manga King of Thorns) but the show itself is kind of boring. Kind of “latest-works-of-bones-boring” which means “ayakashi-ayashi-boring” which means it would have been far better if it was a Gonzo show.
Gurren Lagann: Don’t you dare to insult Mr Kobayashi xD Btw: I don’t think that he is employed there (just a free lancer) so they can’t fire him anyway :P
Bokurano: I wasn’t convinced by the first episode but the second already showed some of the psycho stuff that’s going to come. Oh, this is going to be a great show and the anime really does justice to Mohiro Kitoh’s manga so far (the end of episode 3 with the fire and the seats was well done although it was an original idea from Gonzo). The bgm is good as well. I wish they would remake Naru Taru (the old series was way too low budget and incomplete, too).
Death Note is a lame show, I think. There are some great episodes with good production values but actually most episodes are just average or below. Plus the plot is horribly weak.
Nodame “still images” Cantabile is paused for me. It gets boring to looks at all those stills.
I am not going to watch Lucky Star because it’s from KyoAni. They should continue Haruhi instead of creating JUST ANOTHER harem show in fall. Come on, all that budget is wasted on KyoAni.
I think Death Note has a good winding plot, it’s just the most fun the first time. I don’t think the anime does justice to it completely, either.
Well, basically the DN plot is a good thing but there are just too much convenient coincidences and it goes in circles sometimes. The three, four very good episodes show how well written and directed a story can be but as I said, there are only few episodes that manage that.
Why do people hate people who want subs for Negima!?, Hidamari Sketch, and Manabi Straight? :(
