On Sakura Kinomoto’s legs

One piece of animation from the Kero 10 minute short that came with the second CCS movie caught my eye. It was a beautifully animated sequence of Sakura moving her legs in tight frilly red shorts. I nearly came. Whoever animated that is a dirty pedophile. Seriously. Just look at that detail.
I even made an animated gif of it. You can click on it to get a huge version that’ll most probably kill your browser. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
I’ll write my proper reaction to the series later, I just felt this was more important.
Oh, turns out some guy wanted Churuya at his funeral after he took his own life. Haruhiism knows no bounds! I’m honestly not surprised. Someone else certainly was though.

That really is an impressive bit of animation. Dude, how did you even get it that big? That’s bigger res than a DVD…
Also, there’s a sequence from the first movie that this reminded me of. I can’t remember the precise details, but she’s fallen into a shallow pool of water and she makes these little whimpering noises for a minute or so. I think of that scene every time someone discusses the meaning of the word “moe”…
